What we want

We’re looking to add talent to the Service Desk, one of our 14 units. Within TheValueChain, the SAP ServiceDesk’s mission is to provide our customers a central point of contact for SAP support. We strive to provide high qualitative solutions to their issues, through knowledge, teamwork and communication and we use a proactive approach to identify and solve problems. We pursue exceeding our customer’s expectations in our ongoing seek of service excellence. The goal is the consistent availability of our highly skilled consultants to help our customers achieve their best results.


How you can help

You will:

  • Work on Incidents, functional changes (incl. projects) and service requests. You are responsible for the functional analysis and estimates until final acceptance of the solution.
  • Advise client using your expertise on the SAP FICO modules

You will be joining enthusiastic, very well skilled professionals who are not afraid of a challenge and where you can always go for a chat, a laugh and help … We as a group live one our core values: One Chain One Team.

Once onboard, you will be part of the servicedesk that is responsible for the solutions of SAP related incidents, requests and small projects (changes). You will be responsible for the solution of the different tickets from the time it is entered until it is solved and confirmed by the customer.

Your homebase will be Kontich where your colleagues will get together one or two days a week. The other days you can chose to work from home or from other offices in Belgium: Waver, Antwerp, Genk.

Your support activities are:

  • Analyse, record and resolve Incidents/service requests
  • If needed involve 3rd line support for resolving these incidents/service requests
  • Inform user of ticket status / resolution. Ask for resolution verification before closing ticket
  • Making sure the escalations are done when appropriate
  • Maintain information about problems / Incidents and the appropriate work-arounds and resolutions
  • Monitor and analyze recurring Incidents, and to identify route causes
  • Ensure that service quality and availability are maintained according to Service Level Agreements


Who you are

Ideally, you have had substantial previous experience either as a FICO consultant or service desk professional.

You are able to specify and parameterise (standard) functions in the Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) SAP modules and corresponding business function. Also knowledge of Funds Management is a big advanage.

And you are able to understand clients expectations, anticipate needs and proactively propose solutions in SAP.
